Ah, from the other thread. I remember. You can also get DP/DR from the experience which might explain this. Not saying that's what it is, but it was one of the things I had to overcome afterwards.

Took me like 3 months to shake the DP/DR

6 months to shake the anhedonia

(Both of which I used CBT techniques to achieve)

and then around a year to feel like I was "myself" again

Sometimes I enjoy my job, and sometimes I just fuckin hate it. I think the times I hate it wouldn’t happen nearly as often if I wasn’t relying on other people to leave me a giant fucking mess to fix. I’d like to say “that’s why I get the big bucks” but who am I kidding, Germany doesn’t pay the big bucks.

I actually work alone in the field, as a part of a big company. I love working alone and don’t have to deal with any such workplace politics bullshit. But the office folks, clients, and the rest, often drop the ball and make my job much more difficult than it needs to be
