This just in!!! OTD HAS BEEN REMOVED. I REPEAT - REMOVED FROM THE SHROOMERY.

Please be nice to the inevitable wave of OTD refugees we will see entering the pub over the coming days and weeks. The place has been an absolute war zone, and they will be shell shocked, hungry, and probably crying. One I heard, by the name of Mys... I forget his name already, has already rage quit in defiance.

In other news, celebrations could be heard coming from some other strange place on the boards.

This is an excellent solution to ensure OTD remains an even bigger echo chamber than it currently is - I've visited this page a total of 0 times since joining the Shroomery, and probably wouldn't peruse the settings well enough to know this option exists, if I weren't just told. Took me a good couple mins to find that particular setting even after.

Thanks for the update though. OTD 2.0 is here!!!!

OTD is now opt-in, like crack cocaine. Buy the ticket, take the ride.

Courtesy post so people know where OTD went, choice is yours, problem solved.

Fair enough.

Like any compromise it might be good enough if you look at it right.

Honestly though it is a positive thing if you ask me, my main issue with OTD is the senseless driving away noobs and those who don't know better and now that's handled. Like Nuds said,  lots of people don't even know how to opt in or out of adult content, even veteran users.

Give them their little backroom and hide it from daylight.

Seems like viewing forums and images with adult content wouldn't be under the same option.  Reading and seeing images aren't quite the same.
