Hi all, it's not letting me upload pictures so I'll try replying to this thread with them. Anyways I had some contamination in a tub so I moved it to my room and its been sitting for a week or so and it's starting to show a bunch of mushrooms but they are like buttons,they do not grow upward they're just small weird circles.. not sure if just have to toss these or what

The are fine to eat.  Just grab them firmly and gently twist and pull them up off the substrate.

Yeah, the only time ya hold off on chompin on em is if they've got obvious mold or slime or somesuch on em.  Elsewise, they're more'n likely fine.  Sniff test ain't led me wrong, yet!

unless the mushrooms are moldy, slimmy or smell like death? they are almost always fine to injest.

boiling the tissue in water will kill most nasties anyway.

when in doubt? make a hard boiled tea and kick back.
