Probably shouldn't eat these??

My friend has a casing, one corner of it has developed the green nasty, Trichoderma. Kinda looks like green cottage cheese. On the other end and in the middle of the casing, they're are some monster pins coming up. We probably shouldn't eat these huh?? Thanks for the info!!!

I would try to cut out the contaminated area with a sterilized scalpal or exacto knife
going about an inch or probably two inches into what looks like uncontaminated
area. if after you cut it out and it looks clean inside and out just fill it with more casing. just keep a good eye on it and when the time is right and everything still looks good i personnally wouldn't worryabout it but thats me.
i wouln't give up.
if when you cut it out you see it runs though deeper then i would toss it.
Ultimately its not worth getting sick over so let your friend decide

Personally dude I wouldn't risk it. Toss it. You can always grow more.
