I don’t imagine it was easy being a furry around here. It’s not easy being alternative anything. Even harmless potheads such as myself are reviled. The only reason I haven’t been run out of town is because I keep my grass cut and I gave the leader of the neighborhood watch a few hundred bucks when they lost their job right before Christmas one year.

It was suicide, bucko. Pills or something. They did it in their car  a city over.

I don’t know how into the furry stuff my neighbor actually was. Their costume didn’t look like the professional ones. It was a blue onesie with dog ears and a tail. I’d see them wearing it from time to time.

I don't think they're Furries though.
