Skipping class
    #3223221 - 10/06/04 04:56 PM (13 years, 1 month ago)

Does skipping class ever make you feel bad?  I am talking to the university or community college students, not the high school children.  I could give a fuck in high school because I didn't need to go to class to suceed.  However, in university I sometimes feel kinda guilty when I don't go to a class, because participation is very important to me, and the teachers as well (who grade all the work and can give you some slack if they like you).  Anyways, I'm skipping right now so I can download some music and dance and chill out til my 3 hour class later this evening.  Okay, that is all.

Peace. :stoned:

I skipped all my classes for two days in a row last week, and now I'm having to catch up. So ya, it definitely makes me feel bad, and very stupid as well.

when i was taking classes, i didn't feel bad to skip a day. you pay to go. if you don't think you need the day's material, there's no reason to waste your time going.

it made me feel bad when I failed two classes in one semester.

As far as feeling guilty, well it really depends upon the class size, the teacher, and the class itself. If its a HUGE class, with a dick teacher, in an easy subject, FUCK NO.

Yes, I feel miserable whenever I don't go to a class. I feel like I'm letting myself, my husband, my family and all my professors down by not going. The guilt is too much. So I try to go every time.

I dont really like skipping class either. I like to save my "skip days" for when I really need them, like if Im sick or somethin. Skippin class just for the hell of it makes me feel bad, so I go to every one when Im healthy.
