I'll have to check those out.

Cartoon violence doesn't really phase me while I'm tripping. Monster movies are fine too. I once watched a serial killer thriller and that wasn't a good time.

To each their own.

Trying to watch the toxic avenger on 13 G Amanita was a nightmare.
I thought it'd be more campy and fun. I didn't expect him to rip out a man's rib cage like it was a weed.
Then I switched to the Harley Quinn cartoon and had a great time.

It's a kid show, but I strongly recommend Star VS the Forces of Evil.

It's zany and clever with cool worldbuilding. It's always my go-to during my come-up

I liked that one a lot.
There was a show called summer camp Island that was great. Really easy-going watch.

Good looking out man... I didn't know they had made a movie or started season two yet.. I'ma check it.  If you haven't watched Demon Slayer yet, check it out... 10/10. It's a series, but.  Demon Slayer: Kimetsu no Yaiba – The Movie: Mugen Train is the first movie the made and watching it while out there is what got me into Anime.. crazy good stuff

I took my wife to see the Demon Slayer movie. It was another visually stunning movie.

Trigun Stampede and Stargaze were pretty good. Season 1 was better than season 2, IMO.

The thing I loved about Stampede is that if you tell the story from Knives' perspective, he becomes the hero trying to save his people and Vash is the one who is fighting on behalf the slavers. Both brothers have their own ideals and priorities that are in conflict, but neither of them is 100% right or wrong.

Some kids shows are objectively better than most adult shows.  You ever see the IMDB ratings for Bluey or ATLA?

Adventure Time has always been one of my favorites for tripping.

“Hilda” is chill as well, pretty grounded and lighthearted.

Also going to mention “The Owl House” as well as “Over the Garden Wall”, though the latter can be a bit unsettling.

“To Be Hero X” has been my most recent watch.  The animation style changes throughout the show, but it is done very well.  I’d recommend giving it a chance.

I watched the X files movie on LSD in theaters. That shit was intense. But not as crazy as Event Horizon in theaters on LSD....that was a lot. Amazing movie tho :rockon:

Best movie on shrooms for me was probably interstellar or maybe once upon a time in Hollywood. Best movie on L was probably Labrynth

Oooh if yall haven’t seen the boy and the beast definitely recommend for a feel good trip movie :biggrin:

And any Wes Anderson movie obviously, grand Budapest hotel was great off a couple gram chocolate


Labrynth seems like it’d be so scary but maybe it’s because I haven’t seen it since I was a kid and those puppets are uncanny valley out the ass

I was looking on the vendor sites that have pictures of their different "strains" of cubes and while they definitely have distict morphologies, I am not knowledgeable enough to name specific "strains" to the very slight differences they produce in the shape of the fruiting bodies (unless they're albino or luecistic)

I wonder how profitable it is to have very slightly different morphologies when at any given generation, the differences can just revert to being described as just a basic indistinct cube, especially given the circumstances of the grow environment

I am aware it is all marketing and stuff but surely there must be a more stable reason for giving specific names to more or less unstable cultures

Am I not giving enough credit to the vendors? Surely they must have stabilized their cultures before touting them as unique...

I confess that I didn't know what to pour my last few ml of agar into so I poured it into a gallon bag and laid it flat.

Yes, I realize I didn't need to pour the last agar it could have stayed in the flask, I was just in the zone pouring pretty plates!

Yeah, ATLA, Adventure Time, and Over the Garden Wall are all favorites of mine. Gravity Falls is another good one.

I feel like a lot of the shows I watched as a kid would be fascinating psychedelic fodder: Ren and Stimpy, Rocko's Modern Life, Beavis and Butt-Head, and so on.

Almost curious what Dragon Ball Z would be like on shroomage.

I keep contemplating making a “best shows to watch while tripping” thread in OTD, and throwing in a bunch of shows with rug pulls and extremely heavy themes.

On that note, I recently watched Madoka Magica and Takopi’s Original Sin on some light doses. I’d recommend them, but they might be a bit too much for higher doses.
