I just did a scary thing

I actually called my grandmother in-law for the first time ever. 


Not only do I usually have terrible phone anxiety, but it is a well known fact that my grandmother in-law hasn't always been fond of me. 

But I called her to talk about the college thing and it went okay. 

I faced my fears.  :smile:

i hate long ass phone conversations. the quiet moments. even if its with someone you know really well. lol.

thinking about calling the grandparents is awfully freighening, but actually doing it isnt so bad, and plus, it makes you both feel good afterwards

Good job. Was it his mother's mother or his father's mother? I can really see how his mother's mother would be a problem for you. I hope the bridge has been spanned. =)

I'm sure I sounded like a nervous dolt on the phone, but she's a nice lady at heart.  Not anything like his mother.
