Lucid Gates first flush coming in nicelyπŸ™πŸ½πŸ„πŸ©· * 4

Yoo hey guys so on my current last grow of this season and finishing it off with some Lucid Gates. First time growing these but man am I liking the fruits on these so far. Can't wait to see how big they can get on next flushes. They give a heavy "penis envy" vibe looking at em.
Will definitely be adding these to the list to grow again next season as well. Funny enough tho I did have to pick a couple early because they were in the way of the dub-tub lid growing out the sides lmao. So technically harvested some of the first flush yesterday before taking the picπŸ˜…πŸ˜‚.

Looking really good. I'm about to start fruiting my Golden Teacher. Do you find having a shallower container to be easier to manage? I was going to be using a deeper 66qt one.

For small grows like this I definitely find shoeboxes/dubtubs to be easier to manage for harvests. Tho for true set and forget I prefer to use the Pastys' EZ dial tub which is the 66 qt size you're talking about. Another thing to consider is how much spawn you have.
I like using the big one when I'm feeling extra confident my spawn is clean or growing something that prefers less FAE(like Enigma). But say you have 8 pint sized jars of spawn. You can split that between up to four shoeboxes or put six in the large tub and two in the shoebox. You get more from the big tub and i'd argue it even keeps conditions better, but one contamed jar could mean wasting 6 instead of two.
So it honestly depends on your purposes and how much spawn you got. I will say the deeper one I almost never have to mist. Really it's just slightly more annoying getting the cake out lol. Anyways make sure to post your grow and would love to see it, wishing you a great harvestπŸ˜ŠπŸ™πŸ½πŸ„πŸ©·

Thank you for the info, certainly helpful and I have the same exact containers as Pasty does, so great lol.

Totally makes sense being safe with the numerous spawn jars.

In my case, I've started with an AIO bag and was going to move to more of a shotgun chamber setup with perlite on the bottom.

Will definitely share when I get everything setup.

Here's an even better fruiting chamber, no holes, no perlite, All in all a win win:):mushroom2:

Water tub

I second Agar on the water tub link he gave youπŸ’― Skip the shotgun chamber, personally I kinda hate it. I started off with it when I was doing pf cakes still and I hated the messy perlite and how hard it seemed to get it dialed in, also seemed to contam a lot more. Water tub was a lifesaver for me before I moved to just tubs.πŸ™πŸ½πŸ©·

Interesting. Awesome to see all of the different methods. Plenty of experimentation to do.

Thank you, both.
