Liberty Cap trip report (on my own) * 2

These events took place one month ago.

It was 9:51pm as I was laying in my bed with an unknown amount of mushrooms in front of me. The day previous I had counted out all that was left in my stash, and put aside the powdery and stemmy shit that had kinda broken off the other mushrooms, the 'scraps' so to speak. I estimated it would be equivalent to around half a gram or so, nothing too strong - but I was wrong.

I finished eating this pile at 10:01pm.

15 minutes later I had begun feeling it, which is quite early. The colours on my phone looked unusually vibrant.

An hour after ingestion I was blown away. I was listening to 'Subterranean Homesick Alien' at the time, and all of a sudden I felt such a powerful connection to the music and the lyrics. I started seeing colourful fountains pour a wave of colourful goop down into the bottom of my vision, it all trickled down so satisfyingly, and it continued doing this wave after wave. I've never seen such a visual with mushrooms before. The music was dramatic and I was fully dissolved into it.

I also remember feeling something I hadn't for a very long time, which was a connection to myself. I felt as though for all of this year I had been suppressing who I really am and I'm not sure why. I used to be so kind and caring, I spoke so nicely to people. Now I’m more frustrated and angry, and sometimes I take it out on people - not in an extreme or violent way (like some others), but in subtle ways. I think it’s because deep down I’m not satisfied anymore like I used to be.

Regardless, it was in this moment that I felt that kind and caring version of myself again, and it made me see how much I’ve changed since a couple years ago, I just used to be nicer and much less self centred I suppose, like I didn’t really judge people. Maybe I’m being too honest, lol.

Anyways what I found interesting is how INCREDIBLY powerful these scraps were, the visuals were more powerful than I’ve seen for a long long time. I can remember lying down and watching the ceiling above me, it became a big swirling soup of green and pink and blue, and I could stir it around using my hands and change the shape of the geometry I was seeing which was pretty amazing. Everything was breathing and morphing, not just a few things when I looked at them but EVERYTHING. Which for me is quite rare on mushrooms. Visually it was like taking a couple tabs.


Anyways that’s kind of it for this trip report, it was a pretty good experience and reminded me yet again of the power liberty caps hold within.
