Fiddle, just a little backstory. I’m a convicted felon that was addicted to coke and heroin for many years. I know I have hurt a lot of people and done a lot of shit I wish I could take back. Struggled a lot. I think just living with the intentions is striving towards the mindset you described is exactly how you “payback karma” or “make up for it” you know? Others may disagree, but it has worked out so far. I still struggle and fuck up, but my life has slowly gotten better. I notice the things that stress me out the most are so trivial compared to problems I had on the run or during active addiction. I’m glad to see the push to do better.

This whole thread is super supportive for the most part. It’s a good group of people.

I love 2c-b. We bought so much in the early 2000’s as teenagers ordering RC’s from China. Not I can’t find it at all, and when I do it’s SUPER expensive. Like $10 a hit or more.

Yeah, I use the high temp gasket maker to seat 29mm SFDs over a 1/4" hole.

Once when I was inoculating in a SAB while naked and sitting down, I kept lighting my LC syringe on fire in my alcohol-laden airspace. When I lit my syringe on fire again, it shocked me and I threw it up in the air when right when the needle was red hot and it almost landed directly on my weiner, but I gracefully blocked it last second and instead it melted into the top of my hand. Despite a small odor of burnt flesh and healed scar, everything turned out pretty darn good in the long run.

I confess that I realized I never loosened the lid on, nor foiled the lid of my agar bottle. Hit 5 psi and realized it.

Glad I did, that coulda been messy :eek: when I took the bottle out to loosen it, it began to boil immediately, was building some good pressure. Is a pyrex brand bottle, the seal does work :shiftyeyes:

We'll see how caramelized my agar is after another vent cycle:rofl::mushroom2:

It's not an explosion I'd expect, it's the potential for a rapid flash boil over all over your hands when you break the seal. You've been lucky so far but it won't last forever. Have you ever taken an ice cold beer out of the freezer that looked frosted but not frozen, only for it to flash freeze the second you popped the cap? Like that but the opposite; flash boiled agar that erupts like a volcano of sticky 3rd degree burns.

Well that sounds fun lol. I use an instantpot and give it ample cool down time on the "warm" setting before I open the lid and pull the bottle out, but I'll definitely adopt safer practices cause I like having skin on my hands.
