So, morlahere, you arent bothered by someone who is so desperate to be spoon-fed information that they ask a queston that was already asked a few posts earlier? I can accept some newbie ignorance but I really believe that in nearly all cases of supreme ignorance, pointing an embryo to the search engine can be the best thing for them.

that's true, but what i was referring to was those that get a kick out of putdowns or bullying newbies.
and yes i agree the search engine is good. however, there seems to be times when the cycle of "go to the search engine" is a bit over done.

18- fake people are always lifted out by fellow members. Like when someone posts your pics eventually someone will expose those fake people!
19- From all the reply's I get I can always throw away half, due to crap and nonsense (maybey due to my name), one quart is shit and a few I can do something with.

20- From all the things I read, what is really your experience, or what did you hear. Better to ask (from now on) if people have experienced things or read things!! (Like why are there so many 50/50+ casings? when only peat and lime works fine 2, because RycheHawk has this tek online???)

This is definately a troll post and should be moved to the new troll forum!

My 'pet peeve' is people who think growing a magic mushroom makes them a 'mycologist'. These same peopel will brag about having found a Amanita Muscaria, not knowing that the specie name (muscaria in this case) is ALWAYS spelt in lower case. If I wanted to be real picky, I'd mention that 'scientific names' are always supposed to be in italics!

I guess I just did!

CaptainMax, I may be totally off base here, but isn't the genus in standard type and the species in italics? Like I said, correct me if I'm wrong..

Ok, I'll correct you!

Genus is capitilzed, specie is small case, whole name is in italics. I'd like to figure out if it can be done in shroomery posts.

Pick a book, any mushroom book, and check it out!

Ok, I stand corrected! I knew that genus was capitalized, of course...I knew that once upon a time, but it seems like every day you lose a little more past knowledge, ya know? Especially math..good gawd.

Psilocybe cubensis
sure it can...just use i,/i in brackets

The whole point of me posting that was simply to show that human behavior can be amusing.

I'm definitely not a troll though. If you feel like it go ahead and search my posts, I absolutely gaurantee you that over 90% of them are all accurate, honest responses to honest questions. I've more than helped out in this community and I had no hidden motivations: not of prestige, not of power, not of money, only to be generous and help out. It's obvious that Ryche doesn't like me simply because I've always questioned what he's said and done, unlike the mass of the population here. Dont get me wrong, Ryche, if I were you I'd dig it too! It's not like I'm immune to ego, or immune to the love of power, money and prestige! I just think it's funny to point these things out, ya know?

For those of y'all that wanna flame me. Go ahead, it's like water off of a duck's back, because unlike you, I do not lose sleep over such things. "Oh no, a faceless, nameless personality on a web community said I was [fill in the blank]" You guys need to go buy a sense of humor, I think they sell them at health food stores.

Somebody said this applies to 90% of people here and in all clubs. You know, I hadn't thought of it that way and I agree with you. It's just human behavior, despite the form it takes. We all know we do it, but no one wants to admit to it.

By no means do I think I am above anyone. I am not claiming that I am perfect, but I will say that I am a good observer and that people's true intentions do not slip by me easily.

I'm glad some of you found it amusing because that's all that was intended by it, but damn, I didn't realize this list would have such a negative response! I knew SOME people would be pissed off because it obviously applies to them but I didn't realize how pissed off they'd be.

heh, it's funny though. I KNEW someone was going to reply saying "Number 16: People that make top 15 lists" and actually, I was going to add that in just to get it out of the way but it didn't really fit.
