In a few years you'll have green dicks all over the place.

Each piece will grow a new one and sometimes the new one can give off a pup before the end of the growing season. They go crazy when bigger.

I also thought those home depot Trichocereus were Altman reverts. I've just been away from the scene for a while and don't live in the USA. They're distinctive. I remember when they first hit the scene. They are nice plants and not a bad deal for 3 of them.

Tea time

That was last night. 8 hour boil, filtered and now reduction is going on. I used 18.8lbs of cactus.

Well took me 2 days but I have 10-20 doses. Not sure yet until I take a shots worth. AI says about 20-25 doses. I made 20-25 shots worth. Freezing half and using some tonight.

So i made 18lbs of different trichocereus and boiled it down to 4 cups. About 20 shots. Ive took 2.5 shots and barely feel anything. But here is the kicker....
I take seroquel, buspar, and caplyta. All 3 work against hallucinogens.
I hate it. I took some acid not long ago and it really dulled it down so much.
I need to double to triple a normal amount to get any effects.
Damn shame.
I want off the medz.

Mescaline takes like 3-4 hours to kick in. Sometimes even longer If you didn't know.

Yeah. Those medications will certainly dull the experience.

I hope you have an enjoyable time.

It was nice. I felt weird and had great energy. Made colors more bold. But that was about it. I did enjoy what was there tho. I have half the tea frozen so next time im going to double or triple my dose.
Thx everyone

After all these years of being into entho botanicals and only growing the "PC" pach (which I've grown a lot of lol) I was recently gifted my first non-PC trichocereus :awesome: .

My boss gave me a potted/rooted "SS02 X Guru" and another that has no label but I highly suspect it is "SS01", both are about 10 to 12 inches tall. He got them a long while back and isn't much of a cactus fella and has had 'em just sitting around being a bit neglected, so he offered them to me knowing I'm more into cacti & enthnos than he is.

They were both stalled out in their pots being a little root bound and not much nutrition in the soil, slightly yellow on the tips and neither appears to have been actively growing for a long while now (I saw them back around April and they looked the same/hadn't grown at all since then when he gave them to me a week or two ago, even the newest/youngest spines at the tip were dull & aged looking).

I potted them up into bigger pots, more nutritious soil/substrate, and gave 'em a mild fertilizing, almost immediately/within a day or two after I got them re-potted they started to green up, swell up, and are growing again pushing out fresh growth & spines at the tip.

And not a tricho, but he also gifted me a peyote :awesome: . About the size of a "silver" dollar coin, give or take a bit. That too was a bit neglected and likely being blasted by way too much direct sun through the day. Since I've had it just a couple weeks or so now it has started to look healthier with a bit more green to its color. I plan on keeping it for as long as I live lol, hoping too at least.

I'm terrible at posting pics but I might eventually lol. Just wanted to share my stoked-ness about finally getting some "proper" trichocereus  . I'm looking forward to sampling them both some years down the road, I've only worked with the PC over the years which has been all over the place in regard to potency ranging from virtually non-active to being sufficiently potent around 12 to 20 inches in tea.

Those blues are awesome.

I started some seeds and all have sprouted.
Chaka x scopxzelly3 (20 seeds)
Pachanoi OP (20 seeds)
Althea x not fade away (100 seeds)
Rolleston 2 x time warp (idk 20 maybe)

The scops are the biggest
The Pachanoi are the greenest
But they all have baby catus growing in takeaway containers in my 2x4.
Ill take pics later.

Awesome thread here, I have a few SS02 X Serra Blue plants outside in small pots, they would be monsters if put into the ground.  I also bought WAY too many seeds during covid times, I may even stil have a few lophs around here somewhere.  Anyway, cactus cultivators... UNITE!

There's a few ways but they all achieve the same thing in the end.

How To Strike Roots On San Pedro And Similar Trichocereus Cacti

You've got some nice genetics there. :sanpedro:

SS02 X Serra Blue grow some nice plants.

Maybe you could trade or give away your excess Trichocereus seeds in the Marketplace?

I haven't looked at them in a while, windstorm took most of my seedlings out a few years back, but I also grew too many and it was overwhelming, they are pretty easy to germinate, I wasn't sure at the time, and it was wild how many I had at that time.

All four of these were small and entangled with each other when I received them guessing 5 or 6 years ago, went crazy with all sorts of projects during tough times.  I haven't transplanted them in years, otherwise, they would be HUGE.

SS02 X Serra Blue, slight differences, to completely different, no surprise with crosses.

This poor thing has been through it, battle scars for sure.

My newest Baobabs (above the cactus) my original Martha tent, just a rack at this point.

Stagger, I love the amount of random goop you've got going on in your pots. Makes me wonder if I don't underwater mine... Whenever Datura or Hyoscyamus seedlings pop up in my pots, I wait for them to shrivel, always fearing to drown the cacti...

Pic tax (not at home rn so it's an older one): my favorite pachanoi and the largest peruvianus
