It’s called running a business and it carries risks. Of course own real estate is one of the lowest risks investments. This is why nobody feels bad for landlords or property owners.


No one feels bad for landlord because there's a culture of people assuming landlords are rich evil fucks that deserve to be killed instead of paid .
If you remove the landlord as a people element and make it just a business then you favor big business that can absorb the short loses.

If you make it impossible to evict people then the people won't pay anything because they don't have to.  You are literally make landlords get all of there assets taken from them in this manner. Explain to me how I'm wrong if you socialist get your rent "just-cause" working.

Its not impossible to evict people, not in NYC either, theyre implementing Tennant protection laws so landlords have to hold up their end of the bargain.

That shit about a made up culture assuming landlords should be killed is insane and its really disturbing for you to say it.

And right now the government under trump has taken a stake in over 30 private corporations in an unprecedented way.

Bernie sanders didn't put out a full page add criticizing nato two or so months after his honey moon.  Trump didn't put one out till after his trip to russia and no doubt at all that russia agreed with trump's add.

If you havent read the ad maybe you should not bring it up.  It’s a beautiful ad, very American, Russia would of gained nothing from America taking the ad seriously, in fact, it might of hurt them.

Did Japan make Trump attack Iran or something? If we're getting so scammed by these nations why tf would we continue wasting resources 'helping' them? He can disengage at any time for free.

By GDP, Japan is in the most debt out of I think any nation indebted to the dollar. They don't have surpluses lol. They're barely clinging on. And even if we did extort "hundreds of billions" from our allies, he wants to increase the military budget by 500 billion. So it sure as shit isn't going to help the farmers, sick, or homeless.

And what does that have to do with DSA?

I agree with the points made in the letter. His actual foreign policy while in office however reads differently. Saudi Arabia never got a bill. It got his first foreign trip and a sweetheart arms package. Israel and Egypt were exempted from his aid freeze on day one, nobody asked whether they could afford their own defense. Argentina got a $20 billion rescue while American farmers watched Argentine soybeans take their China sales.

Ukraine had its aid held up over personal favors, North Korea's aid increased. Billions in aid (concessions...) have been offered to Iran.

As for the deficit the letter promised to end, he actually grew it. Deficits rose roughly 50% in his first three years, during a boom, before COVID. 2020 was the largest deficit in American history at $3.1 trillion. This year's budget runs over $2 trillion. Total debt just passed 121% of GDP, breaking the record set after World War II.

Tariffs raise prices, deficit-financed tax cuts pour fuel on demand, and he pressures the Fed to cut rates on top of it. Interest on the debt passed $1 trillion last year, more than we spend on defense. It's now the third-largest thing the government buys.

I agree that foreign aid needs to be wrangled back, but it's only ever really accounted for 1% of the budget. Meanwhile as president he's barely made a dent in foreign aid, has spearheaded his own foreign aid gifts, and has had a hand in breaking many of the things he said backbone would fix.

However, he does still love russia and north korea. He does still bad talk nato and all his actions were to weaken it and the letter was the first shot in that and in power he has taken action on the bad parts but it has not lived up to the good as you have pointed out. 

Every answer he has to a problem has just made things worse.  He milked the saudies in personal finance and not for america.  Ukraine? He has been helping russia.  Yada yada. 

He wrote words and than got power and those words and actions in the letter have moved us closer to being part of the evil empire.  He just cannot play dumb, because he spent 100 grand in 87 to put the letter out. 

It is more like hitler telling all along what he was and never changing.  It may sound good but russia  was the one who understood and trump did it immediately after a russian trip for a reason.  Getting what you can is one thing and destroying is something different.
