I haven’t opened it yet since installing the new devices, I need to put matching torque marks on all the bolts first now that they are at optimal tolerance since it hasn’t been opened after the 50psi leak down test so I know that’s the best bolt torque the issue is that I also still need to sand and paint so I might need to engrave the match marks first,

My biggest concern would be the clearance issue if I didn’t set the controller panel low enough but that’s easy enough to fix, I can just weld in catch plates that stop it from opening 180° and instead hold it open at 120°



I could definitely connect an arduino with WiFi to send me text alerts
But I don’t think I’ll get that fancy yet, maybe in the future but more then likely I’ll just map a few cycles until i find a good run time based on load density and use that to set up an automation system so it just runs itself with out human Intervention

I do have future plans to weld a detachable trailer hitch but my budget is getting thin, I have to buy a sheet of stainless steel to fabricate a lift basket I can use an overhead hoist with but the 16 ga 4x8 sheet is $400 alone not including welding fees so now I’m pushing $3k with this project





I actually found a much better work around instead of unloading in the lab/clean room…….. not to mention it will bypass all the repetitive and tedious process of opening, folding, grain transfer, sealing, shaking etc etc and honestly it makes the vacuum filter unnecessary and redundant,

I don’t know why western culture and America in particular hasn’t caught on to it yet but there’s a reason why the Asian people dominate the market

The plan is simple, change my bags from the American standard filter patch bags to the Asian standard cap and plug type bags


This simple solution will allow me to pre seal the bags with a much more breathable filter that will;

^ prevent bags from bursting reducing contamination from bad seams
^ faulty filter patches
^ vacuum intrusion from contaminants as bags cool
^ risk of introduction from open grain transfers
^ directly injected LC through the pre-sealed filter plug
^ automated filling, sealing and LC injection


This in turn makes the process of loading, cooking, and inoculating more streamlined and efficient when working at such a large volume,

I’m going to be honest there’s no way in fuck you could pay me to process 500lbs of spawn or sub using conventional methods, the western filter patch bags are built for hobbyists production at best even the automation for that system is atrocious like the Thor bagger looks great on paper but in practical applications it’s leagues behind the Chinese automated systems using cap and plug systems
