I think this has to do with the cloud flare checks.

Sometimes I'm able to actually click the GRAEM. Then I do the check. Push back three times go back to the page and everything is loaded correctly.A lot of times I'm not able to click it at all and it just looks like people are posting dead pictures.
Is this a cachet issue?

I’m still having the same problem getting logged out all the time. I’ve tried Safari and Firefox and the same thing happens in both browsers. Same thing happens whether I’m using 4G mobile network or wifi, and I’ve tried multiple wifis.

Sometimes I lose posts, most of the time I don’t. Sometimes no matter how many times I hit refresh, the connection to shroomery can never be made. This has happened once.

If I stay on one page for more than a few minutes it seems like that’s when I lose connection to shroomery and get logged out. It doesn’t seem to happen as much if I’m just clicking link after link quickly.

I just had the same issue again. Firefox said “connection lost, ErrorDomain”

Safari says “could not connect to the server”

Hey Bardy, is all of this from the same device? Just running through some troubleshooting thoughts. If it is always the same device, it could be malware or just OS related.

What do the users with issues have in common? Or what do users that do not have the problem have different? That is where I like to start with problem solving.

Maybe all of us are using Apple phones?

Hard for me to believe it’s malware when it only happens with the shroomery. Literally never happens with any other site.

I remembered Asante saying that he was getting it elsewhere as well. Someone also mentioned that DuckDuckGo did get through when Safari didn't. Is that something you can try to verify that the problem is the same?

One of the most difficult things to trouble shoot was when multiple users were having similar problems but it turned out that they had different causes. That is super frustrating for everyone. You finally find a solution that fixes the problem only to find out that it only works for some users. So symptoms all get reported and only half apply to either specific issue. That stuff still gives me anxiety dreams.

DuckDuckGo seems to be better at not losing connection when I’m posting and hasn’t logged me out as often, but it still has trouble connecting to the server sometimes. Have to click refresh a bunch of times and then it finally connects, same as safari and Firefox.

I updated to the latest iOS software and my connectivity problems seem to have gone away.

I feel so dumb for not figuring this out, but the little envelope on my messages link wont go away even though i dont have any unread or unopened messages.  Is it a bug or something im not getting?

It looks like you actually do have a single unread PM; it was sent back in 2025 so it's probably buried in your inbox. Here's a direct link if you want to read it:

Once you view the message I think it will fix the icon.

There's also a "Mark All Read" button at the bottom of the message list, but it doesn't appear on mobile unless you're in landscape orientation.
