It must be something with my phone. I just looked on my laptop, and I see TEST fine as well.

I don't know if it's a new bug, but margins in PMs, in received and sent messages, the text runs out to the right with enough text. Thx. Using PC windows firefox.

Hmm, could you PM me a screenshot please? Or give me a link to a message where you encounter this bug?

Not a bug really. I think I see what's happening. When carrying an ongoing conversation in pm's, it automatically includes previous message quoted in sent and received messages. When sticking with same thread it embeds each previous quote box making a nest. The minimum width reserved for a quote box looks like around 20 chars, so then it starts pushing out the main box of the message margin to the right while adding new quote box padding. :-)

I'm experiencing the same thing. The mouseover preview for either PM's--or in this case threads--is extending much farther than it should, and often the top of the preview is cut off.

Thank you, I've reduced the quote padding in the preview box to hopefully help with this problem. Please let me know if you have any suggestions.
Dragonaut, I think you just need to drag the lower-right corner of the preview box to the size you want, or change the "Enhanced post preview size?" in your display preferences

Thanks, that helped! I don't know why all of a sudden the boxes got so big, but now the PM and last reply previews are back to normal. I didn't know you could resize the pop-up like that.

Yeah I see what you mean. We aren't inserting that text, what happens in someone posts a Youtube URL with some extra parameters on the end. Like, instead of a clean URL:
Code:
https://www.youtube.com/watch?v=bx-0YlFprqc
they're posting something like:
Code:
https://www.youtube.com/watch?v=bx-0YlFprqc&si=4UWzOsObuOgek3BG
The extra parameters can be added for various purposes, like tracking and session identifiers. Anyway, the BB sees a Youtube link in a known format and converts it to an embedded video, leaving the unrecognized text behind. We could delete that text, but there are edge cases (like if someone forgets to leave a space after the video URL) where this could end up eating part of someone's post. I'd rather leave it up to the user to edit if they want.

Not too important, but I think a prob with pm's getting messy is that the reply box shows initially with nothing quoted, and the received message quotes everything in the thread, so there is a lot of doubling up and nesting boxes. If that dynamic could be made like regular posts with the option to quote or not quote, and the receiving in kind. Perhaps having them display/work like regular threads in pm's, with the thread shown above while replying, and displayed like a regular thread, though I have a feeling it may not be a simple option in the script.

When I click certain threads. In particular with thread killers. It will take me to a page that shows me all the pages of the thread.
But it was supposed to take me to the very last post on the thread.

For a lot of threads now. When I click on the last comment made. It’ll send me to a screen to choose which page to go to instead.

I only have maybe two people ignored. I will try removing those two and see if that still happens. Good tip.
:edit It did not work though. It still did the same thing.

I believe it's working as designed. Hiding someone's profile picture will suppress it with their posts so you don't encounter it inadvertently. But if you're viewing their profile, it's assumed you're choosing to view or interact with them in some way and their avatar is always displayed. People change their avatars sometimes, and this gives you a way to check if their avatar is still objectionable to you, without unhiding it. This could be changed if people don't like how it works, but it's made that way on purpose.
