Been following this thread for a bit and I dig it. When I got started someone gave me a photocopy of PF tek and this huge overengineered tub, one of those ultrasonic humidifier jobbies with three 2L plastic bottles in line, drip shield and some crazy Honeywell sensor & controller combo. Didn't really use it and just did the sgfc thing, but eventually I used the humidifier and controller in an old grow tent a roommate had laying around and it worked pretty well. I see the glory here and am keen to try it to get better results with semperviva and some other more exotic species. So thanks for the thread first off!

For those with the cloudforge T3, what is the best way to program? I'm trying to figure out how to get it to come on at a set low sensor reading, and remain on until a set high sensor reading. It looks like this can be done with the separate controller, but is there a way to do it in-unit? Been fiddling but feel like an idiot here. The cycle mode seems to be the best bet currently but triggering off a sensor reading seems more handy

So anyway, uh...

Yeah, you'll need a ac controller if you want to set both high and low triggers, which is pretty lame, but selling products is what they do

That said, I'm using the auto mode and monitor casing to dial in my dreamers, works great in my opinion :awesomenod:

Cripes, of course it's like that. Oh well, still plenty controllable without that function

Yeah they hustling

That said, if the range between high and low isn't too wide it can be done using the vapor amount setting. If you set the RH to 70% and the vapor amount to 10 you should be able to get to 85% before it stops, but it won't turn back on until 70%.

Thanks dude! I'm happy to be here and learn from the experts, once I've purchased all the equipment and got everything together I'll take pics and document it all, advise will always be welcomed! I'm a complete newbie and jumping right in to the deep end whith Pan Cyan's, I'm considering running "Z strain" also, as from all of the reading I've done, those two strains are the only ones that are available to me as spore syringes that can handle the temps where I live, I  have to cultivate my own now as shrooms are now impossible to get.

I appreciate your welcome

Yeah dude, I'm going to do that, then use the agar for liquid culture, then use the LC to inoculate the millet.

To limit the chances of mould and bacteria I'll be using grain, manure and casing from a reputable mushroom supplies company that has all been pasteurised and bagged in a mushroom lab.

Once I have a couple of successful grows I'll start preparing it all myself.

A while ago I purchased a 23 quart presto pressure cooker at a flea market for $10, I just have to get a raised trivet and it will be all good to go!

Thanks for your reply!

Nah dude there's more that can handle your temps! Xgriseocaerulea and mescaleroensis would thrive there, just for starters!

As far as what's available to me, the only spores I can purchase within Australia that do well in the hot humid climate where I live are Pan Cyan and (Z strain-so I've read) there's only one seller in Australia, I've looked at the trusted vendors here on shroomery and even though a couple of them have worldwide shipping on their banner, they don't actually ship to Australia, I emailed them and they said no.

I too ordered a T3 thinking I could set high and low triggers, and once I saw that AC Infinity went above and beyond with greed, not buying that controller from them.

So I’m doing a DIY version, on principle. 🤣

There are a few places that are in Australia and ship there, they just aren’t vendors on here. Keep coming around online and you will come across them soon enough. Please don’t DM me - I don’t want to catch heat for perceived promotion. Just don’t give up looking.

Some of the coolest cube crosses have come out of AUS lately, too.

I think the humidifier would cost a lot more if it where to trigger at both high and low, because it's a lot more complicated hardware. But yeah greed is the name of the game for everyone in the business of making money. At least ac infinity listens to their buyers and make products that they ask for.

I would love to see your DIY version and if it's not to complicated will follow your lead, that said, I have fruited everything I have tried using the T3, including my upcoming Bisporus grow that I'll post in the picture thread in a few.

For those of you with the 10 speed fan in the OP, are you running it off 5v usb power or a 12v supply? The difference in minimum speed between them is pretty large. Im running it off an adjustable wall wart at 6v currently, just curious when y'all say youre running at minimum speed what voltage that minimum speed is at
