Psychill Space - a place to discover, share, and discuss psychedelic music * 1
    #29619406 -

Hello Psyheads, for last half a year I have been working on a website called Psychill Space. It is a website dedicated to psychedelic music and community.

The website is multi-functional: It acts as a blog, a database, a social feed and an event directory.

The music section is the biggest one - Here you can browse through thousands of tracks, from hundreds of albums and artists, using advanced filters. Rate albums and write reviews. For each track, you can vote on its genres, moods and tags, to create detailed track profiles, and to find similar tracks. You can also view the genres and albums mapped in a 2D space, with similar albums being close to each other.
The most interesting and advanced feature though is the Discovery Queue - it creates a stack of tracks and lets you rate each one, and as you rate more, the suggestions get better and better!

On blog, I write articles such as album reviews and monthly digests of psychedelic and experimental releases, and other related topics.

The community section contains a social feed, where you can read, write and comment posts. You can also follow your friends, share music and pictures.

Last but not least, there is an event section, where you can browse upcoming events and festivals, check lineups, and see which of your friends are going.

The website link: https://psychill.space

On top of that, we also have a Discord server focused on psychedelic music: https://discord.gg/ttmeR2Xw7h

This looks really interesting. I spend a lot of time putting together playlists for trips, usually on Spotify or YouTube, and I've found that the music can completely shape the experience. Sometimes I'll start with a playlist and end up discovering artists I listen to all the time afterward. I've also used some of GordoTEK's playlists over the years, so I'm always on the lookout for new music and new ways to discover it. The Discovery Queue honestly sounds like one of the coolest features you mentioned. One thing I've always felt the mainstream streaming services are bad at is recommending music that's actually good for psychedelic listening instead of just recommending more of whatever you've already been playing. I'll definitely check the site out.

Looks good, would you be able to describe how to use the discovery queue please?

No more tracks loaded despite my having profiled the first, and I see nothing obvious in the UI.
:philososloth:

I'm using on a computer.
