Yeah but they're not antidepressants like SSRIs. They're melatonin based and mainly only used to help sleep which impacts antidepressants.

There's few withdrawal issues with this med.

You are right that best practice is to speak to doctor, though.

I just know they will have about as much info as I do. BC the docs are bad enough with antidepressant prescribing let alone uncommon ones like this.

I see. I'm glad my antidepressants work for the most part. Every so often, I have a day where I get a little depressed. It's not terrible, but it's bad. And the lethargic feeling isn't as terrible either.

I imagine I'll still have days where I'm down. I've had a few in the past fortnight but it's more sluggishness. Tbh it's also pretty natural to be a bit down when you're unemployed like I am. So I'm taking the down days, where I'm just a bit more pissy than usual, as normal

Was just so tired of being tired. The meds absolutely did the trick dragging me outta that bad phase. I am grateful

Today I overslept by an hour but that's still not crazy even when I was on the meds. I felt I had much more energy and got a lot done

I guess I was also worried being that tired when I go back to work. Honestly I've needed a couple of naps the past month and that's never a good sign for me. Naps mean I'm absolutely dying of tired. It's no good

I don't want to be on any meds, personally.
I'm hoping to find ways to manage my thoughts and autistic burn out that leads to a lot of my issues.

I'm not against antidepressants, just to be clear. I just like the idea of being on nothing. If I don't need it, that is.

No shame in that. No shame in any take. It's what works for the individual that matters.

Oops I just said something kinda mean to my housemate. I said "not everyone has to like you" implying I don't like him. Oops.

Is it worse to say to someone's face you don't like them or to harbour bad feelings about them so that every friend knows you don't like them?

In any case probably could have not said it that way. Oops

Cats outta the bag there. Tbh, it's been a fortnight of me not sitting in the lounge, not making much eye contact and not asking him about his day (he doesn't ask me either). Not once has he noticed or asked.

Lol

How very much like a woman of you. Bet you hate talking cold medicine when your sick too. Medicine can hurt thing physically too, but its usually for the better to take them. Never seen a women who likes the idea of taking meds, same with meth heads. But just know in America when the police are taking to you or any crazy person behavior issues the first thing they ask is "have you taken your meds ". Remember to answer no, and not i don't have meds.

Update coz I'm addicted to my phone today

Feeling more depressed than I was on the meds. And about as tired. Going to bed later too, sleeping about the same hours. Less waking up in the middle of the night although I had a dream with unsavoury contents yesterday and it upset me so I woke up then

Still. I'm not feeling really really bad in terms of depression. I'm definitely not IN a depression right now. I'm just feeling lower than before.

I blasted someone pretty badly and did something bad today when I got pissed off. Not gonna say what so don't ask please I'm so embarrassed.

Idk. All a process

I set a boundary with a sorta -friend/acquaintance today that I'm not available to talk about the serious stuff right now. I'm in a difficult position with this guy. I think he's good and a nice person but I don't think I have the room for another friend. In any case I absolutely don't have the mental space for his stuff.

That's a big win for me to actually set a boundary so I'm happy with that. My best friend helped me to word it. I am lucky I have good people in my life.

Hope y'all doing well. You've been a good support to me

if its like canada, just ask a doctor, preferably a psychiatrist if they think you are eligible for disibility, and if they think so they will sign the papers

Oh I can work the 15 hours. It's just that there's this built in issue with equality as when someone can work only 25 hours they never get to achieve the same financial freedom as those who can work 40. It's more of a value issue I'm arguing

So what your saying its better value to work 40 or more hours.
