Okay so I grew my first batch of Hillbillies from a grow bag, and my first time ever growing shrooms. Everything came out as planned.. but now I hope I didn't fuck up the drying process. They ain't as dry as when I put them up, and spongy.. please tell me they ain't rotting. I air dried them, can I save them by just popping them in the oven or something? I hope I didn't screw up.. 😪

Hello!:mushroom2:Those don't look like dried mushrooms should. I'm sorry but those are not edible. Black and squishy is not what you want. My advice would be to invest in a cheap dehydrator. I use a $35 one off zon and it works great.

This is what happens when you don't immediately dry to cracker dry with a dehydrator. They were dried too slowly and turned blue/black.

Get a dehydrator and set it to max (usually 170) keep them in there 12+ hours.
