I started the Aripiprazole again but this time just 1mg. There is a lot of crazy shit going on lately and even though it is really happening my reaction to the stuff isn't the same as everyone else so I think maybe it will help me cope + I am filling in the gaps with what may or may not be true but I am really certain it is true. Prominent people are up to no good.

I'm on 30 mg of aripiprazole. It works mostly though i still have confusion and automatic thoughts.

I really don't know how psychiatry works. Just looked up the DSM -5 for psychosis/schizophrenia. My interpretation is that I may have had some form of psychosis when I was feeling really delusional regarding safety around men and believing the world was fake and I was living in a matrix. (I think the fact I could identify it as a delusion at the time, but still believe it was real, may have been what led me not to be diagnosed).

I'm not medicated so I wonder then if it's just gonna happen again? It was fucking horrible. Almost certainly caused by the trauma of last year.

I'm so sick of having professionals not listen to me (that's my main gripe right now). Had years of insane periods that my doctors made no effort to diagnose the cause, my psychologists (admittedly not doctors) failed to notice the neurodivergence and the failure of neurotypical psychotherapy, and now possibly just had a psychiatrist miss an active psychotic break in front of them.

I'm so annoyed lol.

I'm worried Im just a hypochondriac. I've been one before although I'll also sit in severe pain for days on end and do nothing about it and just dissociate lol. So who knows lol

I'm alright now, I'm just venting.
Just a bit scary that even when you seek help it doesn't actually get diagnosed. Had to self diagnose the ADHD and bpd symptoms lol

Yeah I don't know if labels always help. They help for the providers to aid in their treatment of the patient but as a patient it can be hard and confusing.

Nope. Still unemployed but I'm doing alright. Can't complain

My psychiatrist said there's nothing really left to try to help with my automatic thoughts. Though he said there's one medication left, it requires regular blood tests, and it's a hassle, so I'm just going to stick with my current regimen.

Yeah that sounds annoying to do.
If you are able to manage your automatic thoughts ie not act on them or are able to reason through them then you're doing fine. That's what DBT told me anyway. I'm gonna crack the shits at loads of people internally but I will try to reason before I act.

One thing I've noticed myself doing is automatically saying "I hate kids" when I go to the library and it's full of them. But I've been able to reason that of course I don't hate kids, that's kinda ridiculous. Kids are cool, they're innocent and they just do as they know how to (they don't have the lived experience to know otherwise). So I now say "they can be annoying in this setting" and I wear my headphones with white noise playing. That's enough for me. I'm okay with occasionally thinking "I hate kids" but I don't wanna act on that and be a grumpy old fart lol

The automatic thoughts aren't something I feel I have to act upon; they are just annoying. I wish I didn't get confused more than anything; it would be nice to be clear-headed.

Yeah I get ya.
Confusion sucks man. I'm always forgetting stuff I said or did and then thinking that something happened differently than it did BC of bad memory (even with a photogenic memory haha).

I'm feeling really badly tired since starting valdoxam. That and poor sleep more generally are the only side effects I've noticed. I wonder if I need to keep using it? I can't see myself going into another crazy depression with the delusion unless something ticks it off and I'm living pretty basic these days. Getting a job would be stressful but I'm just gonna treat it like a game. When you've been as bad at being employed as I am it's all a fucking game haha

Pick packing and medical reception part time.
So I can focus on the shit I like.
I given up on normie full time work and I won't get paid well being an employee so I may as well either keep heaps of free time to do stuff I like or learn skills that are entrepreneurial in nature and hope I can work for myself some day doing something. I'm a bit lost but I've been lost my whole life. At least now I am less crazy

Yep I like that quick repetitive work. Tbh general practice nursing was like that but it has the extra elements of being very responsibility laden and highly social, two things I wanna get away from

I worked in manufacturing most of my life, and it was a fast-paced environment. I liked it well enough.
