Sounds like you're really into experimenting with different strains. If you ever consider expanding your cultivation for therapeutic purposes, using medical cannabis for PTSD could be an interesting angle. I've found it helpful for managing symptoms, and it could offer a new dimension to your growing experience. Keep up the good work with those chemmy/gassy strains, they're some of my favorites too.

In places it's fully regulated, it still has a lot of undiscussed and
unresolved crap. It's taxed up the wazoo in some places, for smoke
that PGR weed makes up a significant amount of some suppliers.

I don't care if you use PGR's, but others might. I avoid it when I can.
That kind of stuff, the warnings people have shown on the labels too...
From the packaged flowers, to the actual plant food bottles..
Another thing is just, I personally don't really care for that smoke quality.
But it's better than nothing?

Makes me think about the theories I've heard where maybe it's not the
flower itself, or smoke even, but possibly the butane, the rolling-papers burning
or that type of plant food that makes it more dangerous(?) to burn and consume

:pokerawe:
Some places lowered the amount available on the market, but they're still available.
Plus it heavily taxes the flower bud's natural beauty in my opinion.
It's sorta like the ai of the plant-fertilizer world

My gun store uses an online gun application. If you answer anything the way they don't want you, it won't let you hit submit. I'm surprised Texas has any rules for guns! Lol
At least it's not like Nazi Jersey!
Shall not be infringed doesn't mean they who smoke weed can't own a gun.

So im curious. While growing so far I have been light on the nutrients. Now that I switched to flower should i gradually give the plants more or just jump into a more aggressive nutrient cycle? Thank you for considering my question.

Recently ordered a few mixed ratio seeds from Hoku, along with some cbd/cbg/cbc oil.  Been feeling like shit after switching autoimmune meds, so I’m hoping the oil can help bring some relief.

The order comes with 80 free fems as well, a blue dream hybrid and a gmo x pbb x double Durban.  Should be dank!

Kind of a mess in there but there it is. The stalks are very thick. My basement smells like weed and the buds have a while before showing up.

Topped everything 4th to 5th time today.

I also started some stinging nettle compost tea. I don’t see it mentioned often, but it’s high in nutrients, improves growth, health, ect, and unlike bottled nutrients it’s free and dead easy to make.

I used to make nettle tea/ferments for my plants where I used to live & grow, portions of my backyard were loaded with nettles (Sometimes I'd toss in some other fast growing spring "weeds" too, like chickweed, cleavers, & mallow...I'd also make a few batches of a nettle tea for myself to drink as a springtime "tonic" of sorts ).

How do you go about making your nettle tea? Just passively letting the plant material sit & soak & "brew" in a bucket or do you aerate or add anything else to the mix?...

I may do a few teas and start making & using LAB again this time around.

I topped a few of my plants for the first time a couple days ago, as well as bending one plant towards the north to keep it a bit short & more bushy in structure.

I'm going to be using that "Knotweed" extract, Reynoutria Sachalinensis, this summer. I found a cheaper brand than Marrone's product "Regalia" with the same extract in it. I'm curious to see if I notice any difference in the vigor the plants have, and if it lessens issues with pm/mold/fungi. I'm also going to be using the bacteria Bacillus amyloliquefaciens this time around. I've heard good things about both of them, stoked to finally give them a try.

I use Glomus species of endomycorrhiza on the rootball when transplanting the baby plants into their big pots, I often wonder though how much those fungi are actually colonizing/forming connections with the roots.

Im pretty sure the pollen on my mac f2 took
:rockman:

I also couldn't resist hitting a branch of my GMO Oz bx2 with the mac fem pollen as well

Here is the mac f2 clone that I reversed, the sts I made worked very well. I was worried I did it wrong at first 😅

Bonus pic: I even successfully reversed an autoflower clone.....but in my defense the pack I bought was supposed to be photo so I had no idea it was an auto at all....glad it still worked 💀(black belts by tastebudz...I wanted to try uk genetics)

:highfive:

Funny you mention Regalia cuz I just ordered some today, finally. I am also curious to see how this works, it certainly isn’t cheap but I already see powdery mildew starting to take over clovers and things like that so I think it might be a bad year for it where I’m at. What was the name of the product you ended up finding and that was cheaper? I’ve also heard good things about using chitosan with the Reynoutria Sachalinensis; I might pick some of that up as well.

The nettle tea that I make are just chopped up nettle plants in a bucket with water held down by a rock; I usually let that sit for a week or so. It’s good stuff! I don’t do anything fancy any more like aeration etc. theres probably ways of improving, but honestly this works well enough for my purposes.

Also found a bunch of Entomophthora infected flies on my plants today which I thought was kind of cool

Anybody know if it's against the rules to make a post in the marketplace for trading of cannabis seeds?

If it is,  might any of you guys have some home made genetics that you might want to part with?  I don't want to order seeds online. I want to try some home made strains to work with that are not commercial.

I have seen what you guys can do on here and I'd offer up an arm and a leg for some new non commercial genetics  :yesnod:
