I wonder if they still arrange those ayahuasca ceremonies in the Amazon or are they scammy tourist traps now like everything tends to become eventually. MHRB was made illegal so I can't err make dyes with it anymore and I'd love to do it again some day.

I've heard that the ayahuasca scene largely become a tourist trap. But I never participated in one I couldn't tell you.

I'm sure there's every single type of Ayahuasca experience still available somewhere in the Amazon, from scammy tourist trap to real ceremony to just someone going "here," and everything in between. It really is just a basic part of society in some parts of the Amazon, and not just in a remote indigenous villages sort of way.

Received some really hurtful news the other day so I haven’t really been on here. I’m basically starting my regular life from the ground up again. Got my daughter living with me now. Got a lot of work release (community service) for some graffiti I did earlier this year coming up this month and the next few. Should know if I have a dishwashing job in a few days so there’s that. Also I got a dehydrator finally as a barter from a friend. Didn’t have very much success popping beans this year tho and I don’t have the funds to get any on top of them being illegal later this year ugh. Oh well. Life goes on does it not? Anyways I hope you all are doing well.
