Damn!

I can't source any of these anywhere around me. No one wants to take the gamble they're hard to grow up here but it's possible to get them established in a nice garden and I wanted to try.

They're protected in my area. I found one other spot with a grip of them and wished I could transplant. But it's illegal here and apparently they're super hard to transplant. I'd love to cultivate them. They're my areas only natural growing orchid. I've camped at this doot for twenty years and never saw one there! I found a red Russell and tossed it because it was a sickener, it landed tight next to it and my buddy saw theady slipper.

It's not worth the risk of transplanting them and getting them established is so difficult so rare that it probably is against the law everywhere to move them. Kind of like huckleberries.

If you were able to get some seeds from it though. That would be huge.

In all seriousness, I had an acute depressive episode a few days ago and having a bunch of outdoor chores to throw myself at really neutralized the impact of the episode. If I’d just wallowed in bed all day, as I have done historically, I’d certainly have felt physically shittier

Damn shitty man, how long do the episodes last?

I don't necessarily get depressed but I get some bad anger and temper issues and definitely have a lot more in the winter when I'm slow and not working as much and sitting around more.
