Yeah, I def recommend that participants NOT send me their votes until the last day of the month, or even the first of the following month, as I expect the default mode to be that we will get more/most new entries toward the end of the month. The exception would be if someone knows they want to cast all three of their votes on one pic (like their own).

Seems to me that the hard thing for us to get worked out will be how to ensure the timeliness of the votes, by a particular date. Maybe that's it...tell participants to send their votes to me by the 1st of the following month & I'll then tally votes and announce the winner on the 5th. (?I'm fishing here for a possible solution...?)

It's really easy to lose track of something relatively minor like this, so I'm not exactly sure how to best help atm...maybe set a reminder on one's calendar.  ?

For this round, let's see how it plays out. So far, no one has submitted any votes & that's good. I do like the idea of trying to figure out a way to do it without names as well. On the flipside of that, I do like seeing the entries as people want to post 'em as it kind of builds the anticipation a bit.

Let's let the ideas marinate a bit in this first round - I think we'll learn a lot as we go.

How about keeping votes open for a week or even a month? you post the pictures and just leave it for a week/month - collect the votes - post the results. That'd make things a bit easier I think. So when you've collected all contributions you post them and let people vote for a week/month then collect the votes after, meanwhile people post new contributions for next round.

Anonymity would only work if nobody posts which image is theirs in the thread and just you post all contributions when they're all in your DMs. This would be the most fair way so nobody can just simply vote for someone they like but the actual picture. You can just post them with numbers instead of names and people vote for a number.

Perhaps these things makes it hard for you to keep track of as you mentioned but I'm happy to see you're taking it into consideration! I'll be joining these contests either way.
