Experiences with Ashwagandha?

I tried it but didn't notice it help with stress much maybe you'll have success with it.

For me the first couple times I took it, it felt like it worked. Noticeable drop off in my anxiety/stress levels, nothing recreational about it but just kind of a dulling of the negative background chatter

Very quickly lost it's effect though, even at higher doses. Didn't do anything noticeable for my sleep/sex/fitness, weirdly I think it somehow boosted my tolerance to capsaicin when on a large dose of it.

I took it for 3ish weeks straight, started getting almost an anhedonia and weird feelings of dissociation... very mild but man I just felt "off". Stopped taking it and got rebound anxiety and insomnia for a few days then back to normal.

Haven't touched it since then but now that I think of it it could be something nice to have on hand to take before something stressful/anxiety provoking in the future

I just googled it and it looks like a lot of other people have gotten anhedonia while taking it. It really wasn't a fun feeling
