I'm not new but I lost my password for my original account from 20 years ago after a long absence! I love this site and hope to donate ASAP as it is both an immense treasure trove of data, and just a fun, weird place! I learned everything I know about growing shrooms here after getting the basics from Paul Stamets' book. Keep it up shroomers!

Hi Everyone, been registered for a while but first post.

Used to do PF in the mid 90s, been meaning to get back in; now in Europe, got some mystery spore prints a few years ago (which just sat around) and finally managed to germinate them and clean them up around October '25. Doing shoeboxes (and lots of plates), everything working and always getting better, and all thanks to this site and all of you!

Thanks guys! That pic is the best first flush I've had by far, 390g off of a myco quart of spawn (1:2 with coir). The print those came from was an odd color, almost tan, but the fruit looks like normal old cubes.

I totally missed that pic. Those are really cool looking! Kinda remind me of my ocraciocentrata grows. Mine made dark colored prints, but who knows, there are a lot wacky genetics to find in those things.

Hey all

I'm on my second go at this hobby so I figured I'd drop a note rather than just reading along.

I was here on Shroomery a good 15 years ago and got schooled well. Started like many with the PFTek/rice cakes...then went to spawning tubs with coco/birdseed. Did a buncha different spores but settled on PE's and ran those for a few years. Then teied the pans. Had a few tubs in the works when we had a family tragedy. It fried my head so badly I couldn't even think of trips...so I gave my set up and pounds of PE's/a z or so of Pans to a friend and took a huge break from all of it.

Crashed really, really hard last year within. My doc (again) wanted to put me on the "Zac...but I refused. She then sent me to see her friend who does KAP and after some head-shrinking...I stepped back into the psychedelic ring via Ketamine. Not perfect...and not natural...but it's been amazing to feel "normal" again.

A few weeks ago my wife said she wanted to grow some gourmet shrooms so I went looking on the Net for what was available. Found some logs...

and the Cubes...LOL. Grow bags were just coming into light when i stepped away...and since I sold my cooker/etc years ago...I decided to give it a try with the bags. A week in and I'm seeing some myc growth already...

Trying the Pans and cubes this go...we will see. LOL.

Should be fun. Glad Shroomery is still here for info!

Mushrooms saved my life in a big way. I also get ketamine in-clinic and it has been a god-send for me.
