Ii have one small note;

This is not what casing is. This is spawning to bulk.
Casing is adding a layer of (usually different and non nutritious) substrate on top of the bulk substrate, to provide a moisture rich micro-climate ideal for primordia formation
You refer to it as a "cover layer," in your absolutely fabulous, spectacular write up.

What an amazing thread!

I have clean plates of what were traded to me as Zap 'Holy Grail'.

I'm trying to understand how and when you switch from the aquarium bubbler to the reptile fogger and what that setup looks like?

Any clues would be appreciated.

Also, I note you run subtropicalis the same way — do you also switch to the fogger when fruiting them?

Hello - switching to the fogger when fruiting is not so critical. Last time I did without fogger at all and it was very good.
