Hey yall could you grow ttbvi on some straight sag with some casing layer of peat moss? I’m just a basic grower so I don’t feel like doing the whole horse poo and all that stuff.

You can but the fruits might be small or mutants.  I imagine somewhat depends on luck with the culture.  You'd want to use a high spawn ratio.  Like 1:1 or 1:2.  I'd suggest wheat, brown rice, or popcorn as they all contain more nitrogen than a lot of other grains.

Full disclosure, I've never done it myself.  But have seen cvg grows.  And they all used higher spawn ratios.

2tbs of dried worm poo to 500 ml wet coir.
Add the poo when you hydrate the coir with boiling water. No pasturizing needed.

Done this for many pan species, including TTBVI and the mib redspore in my sig.

Get dehydrated poo. Fresh doesn't work with this method.

1:2 ratio on rye.

Where can I get dried worm poo? I like this cuz horse poo is non existent here other then the one mixed with all the bullshit from the stalls.

Hey bro I checked it out that looks really good! I’m a little confused tho he says the amount of liquid fertilizer but not how much coir and verm. Maybe I missed something.

KRS, I rely on Fahtster’s recipes for CV — if you’re making a full brick of coir, it is 650g coir, 2 quarts vermiculite, 1 gallon of water.  If making just a quart of CV, 40g of coir, 1/2 cup of verm, and 1 cup of water. I’ve been looking at the CV+ stuff from MojaveMyc  today as well and I’m going forward with 1 gallon of water with 20mL Jackpot and 20mL True Organic (blue label).  I was able to find jackpot on amazon and the TO at my local garden supply store. My plan is to simply hydrate the dry CV mix (however much I need) with the feetilizer+water solution. Oughta do the trick, I think.

Also, thirdeyewild, I like the sound of your recipe
as well - super straightforward. I haven’t seen this one yet and feel like I’m gonna have to give it a shot as well, so thank you for posting that!

Hey bro. You said 200ml dried poo added to 500ml wet coir, does this mean I need to make my coir hydrated and then add the poo or can I use a coir block (650g) and add 200ml dried work poo to that? .You just use worm poo and coir? Would it still work if I do cvg but add the worm poo? I don’t exactly know what cvg does for the shrooms other then it makes them grow lol. Would it mess it up if I was to do cvg with the worm poo? Also why do you just use coir and worm poo. Sorry if this is a lot of questions bro I’ve just only ever done one cvg and stuck to it for like 3 years now

No not 200 ml to 500 grams coir
2 tablespoons dehydrated worm poo to 500 gram of rehydrated coir.

So when rehydrating coir toss in an few tbs of dry worm poo. They don't really need any extra moisture.

So I use coir and worm poo because I have no access to manure. I used to use winter elk poo but almost burned my house down when my stored supplies spontaneously combusted!

So I wanted an easier way to grow pans, and this works beautifully.

If you have access to other manure it might be better. I can't really compare my method with others. I know I got lots of shrooms. It was no harder than growing Cubensis. A bit faster actually.

My favorite pan is bisporus and it worked great for them. Works for pan cyans too .

Any particular brand of worm castings you like? I know it might not be available in the states, but it could give me an idea.

I'm not sure of a specific brand, but get them dehydrated. Fresh castings will contaminate with this method.

I know poo is ready available to most, but for personally being able to dry it out to capacity is impossible for over a quarter of the year.
