I hate to say it too, and I was rooting for Pickard. I read his book and I liked it, but upon listening to him further, something threw me off.

I recently watched an interview with him and he seemed like, frankly, a far cry from the psychedelia I support. I think his book has some interesting language, but I have gathered mostly now that I don't trust him, and I have stopped paying attention to him. Last few pages of this thread sealed the deal for me.

They're all a bit fishy if you ask me.

I grew up (well, i was a young teen) watching Cole on Neurosoup. She seemed really funny and like a good person. I want to believe she never did anything. Maybe she was influenced. People can be easily influenced to do all kinds of things they wouldn't otherwise do.

Yes it's absolutely worth reading. It's a pretty advanced read though. He really likes to be wordy.
