I got some of the same brand! Decent, cheap handles and easy enough to change blades.

Me too. My muscle memory is for the #11s, I like them a lot for agar transfers. But I think I'm starting to prefer the #12s for grabbing/placing clone material and plucking samples off a BRF Pucks etc. They offer different angles of attack. I often keep one of each ready to hand.

Going forward you can skip the laborious hole making and just un-clip one side of the lid. IF you need to reduce FAE. I have a hunch this tub could run a grow as is

A tub without holes would have barely any fresh air exchange, so surely unclipping one side of the lid would increase FAE, not reduce it? Not sure what you meant here.
