Someone Stole My Wallet

I just need to vent. After leaving a neighborhood bar late friday night I noticed that I no longer had my wallet. It was nowhere to be found. I had about $20 in it, 2 credit cards and a check/debit card. I was too drunk to call in that night to put a stop to those cards. Goddam I shouldn't have waited because when I called my credit card companies the next day there were numerous purchases made on them that very day. They couldn't say for how much though since the transactions were so recent. Then I called my bank regarding my debit card and someone had spent about $500 of my checking account money. Luckily I think I get all this back but I have to sign all these affidavits, do all this paperwork and wait forever. And I have to go to the DMV and get a new drivers license. Goddamn it could have been worse but it just angers me that people can be so dishonest. I hope they catch him.

I lost mine in Austin about a year back and some guy that worked at the State Dept found it and called my sister...she called me and i got it back the next day w/all my money cards ect at the capitol bldg
I tried to give the guy $25 but he wouldnt accept it so i gave it to the guard n told him to give it to the guy....the guy called me later and thanked me....that doesnt happen very often

my gf was at a party once, when she was 17 or so, halloween costume party in frisco, and some gay guy came up to her, liked her purse, and proceded to 'switch purse's with her, right in front of her, then calmly walked away and got lost in the croud.... she was all drunk and didnt really know what was going on... so a few years later, she was like 21, and her mom calls her and says that someone mailed her purse to her house, it had the ID, Social security card, etc still in there... pretty damn crazy, no money though, but my gf said she didnt have much, just the id and ss card were important.....

Howard Dean and you should get together..

Former Pres. candidate Howard Dean gave a speech over a payphone just recently since he was unable to attend at the last minute. He ended the speech abruptly with, "..I have to go. My wallets been stolen." (He had taken out his wallet and left it on top of the payphone).

I had my whole bag stolen at work once. About a week later my wallet arrived in the mail. I never got my my school bag back along with my notebooks and books. Give it a few days maybe you will get your wallet back.
