i lost about 3-4 ml of lc to stiction— fuck stiction, all my homies HATE stiction

i could probably overcome stiction with practice, but practice does not always make perfect

anyways, here’s my new easy syringe for accurate inoculation without overshooting

I think you click the button and it repeatedly will dispense whichever option you have it set to, so like 1ml dispenses with every click. But I’m guessing and too lazy to look it up im retarded

He bought it to assist with small amounts of lc which this doesn't do.

I think those will dispense a preselected amount when the plunger is fully depressed. Assuming that wr3n is having trouble with syringes being stuck after flaming and then spurting out too much liquid once applying enough pressure to overcome the stickiness. Could work out, set it to 5ml and just push til the plunger is fully depressed  :justdontknow: is it PCable though?

well shit

that’s what i get for making an addition to my agar powder delivery late at night when i don’t have even two brain cells to bounce off eachother

i’ll test their PC’ability soon so this isn’t an entire waste— if they can be PC’d i can find a use for them somehow

if not i can give them to my best friend, she had her baby last recently so i’m sure she would appreciate them in her mommy arsenal

If you have that much trouble dispensing LC you're gonna have all kinds of problems with the leur slip tip. If your LC is that thick it's gonna blast the needle off the tip of the syringe.

It's also "accurate" in 2.5 ml increments.

Just rotate the plunger in the syringe before you try to plunge it.

That’s an oral syringe. It won’t even fit a needle. It’s bigger than the luer slip tip.

i’m fine with a slip tip and getting it all put together, i’ve used the inoculation needles before,

after oversquirting my strongest and easiest to grow lc strain, in addition to having a bucket of messed up life i don’t want to dig deep to— i don't in any sense have any energy left to spend dwelling on them at the moment, i’ll likely not touch the easy syringes for another month at least if i don’t end up giving them to my friend

i’ve reached the point where all avenues are exhausted to their fullest reasonable extent, and mushrooms are a last ditch effort for me— so just having them in case doesn’t hurt

i’m just throwing hours of shroomery digging, spare brain cells, and what $ i can, and just hoping something sticks 😕

if turning it works to do multiple i’ll probably make a post about them for others to know about and credit you, ty for the suggestion

edit for clarification: the lc is premade and good consistency, it was just hard to push at first and i didn’t have a good enough hold underneath the depressor

all i need is sterile, needles can start getting dangerous for me due to a mix of stress and a medical complications— i’m trying to study on my sterile technique to prepare, so even if they’re used as dummy props it’s alright

rather have to make more jars to account for higher contam rates than become a porcupine :syringe:
