When to harvest?

I know that in principle you are meant to harvest when the caps pop open but these ones don't look like they will pop open! Am I being impatient or should I harvest them now? I haven't grown this variety before. I think they are Mack II

Oh wow, I didn't notice the scale.

I know there are some varieties, mostly Penis Envy variants(?), that you harvest when the stipes begin to get a bit squishy. Similar to a marshmallow.

I'm not sure if yours it one of those varieties, but it could be an indicator for you if your caps remain closed.

Yeah they are literally about average penis size. I got the spores labelled Mack II but I have no idea what they are. Any ideas here?

Unfortunately there is some contam edging in from one corner but with the size of these with only a few from one flush it will keep me going.
