ok, i found this oddly enough on the table next to my paintball stuff. i guess it just got dragged in from a day in the woods. unfortunately i cant specify what substrate it grew in... the woods we played in are comprised mostly of older white pines, and a few other trees like maple and oak. i live in south eastern area of nh, and its been a moderate climate, 70's 80's with a little rain now and then. it kind of reminds me of a psilocybe graveoleons, which i heard grew in this area of the country. i know its not much for munching, but man would it be awesome if i finally knew for sure what kind, if any, psychoactive mushrooms grew in my area. no real further details to give, it smells slightly mushroomy, but not strong at all. the tip is also blackish brown... thanks for the help!
Yay NH! live free or die. (just dont die eating that mushroom) Yea I'm headin up there in the next week or so; I'd love to find some actives. I know i'll be lookin! Make sure you post if you find any more!
thanks guys, i still dont know what kinda mushie it is... but i hope you have more luck than i have so far. if you find anything, PM me and let me know what kind you found. i still dont really have a good idea as to what kind of shrooms grow in my area...
-------------------- im really just curious... i promise as soon as all the secrets of the universe are whispered in my ear by a jewish midget, riding a blue elephant, that i will discontinue my use of drugs. but not a second before the midget.
