I think the reason Moore ruffles so many feathers is his ability to criticize and see American culture just like the rest of the world.
Michael moore sees America as a revoltingly submissive, greedy, uneducated and self obsessed country.
Michael moores films are very popular and his books have a very very long waiting list @ the librarys here in australia.......

The American culture through the eyes of almost all people I speak is :poop: .... most of them have been in America and/or do watch the news and read objective newspapers. Their opinion is based on facts, not only on a moore docu...

The thing that really shocks me is that Moore is the epitomy of what the U.S. critics hate, yet the U.S. critics LOVE him.


Moore knows that there are other people who are dissatisfied with bush, so he tailors his film to incite even more anger. I think quoting this sentance again puts how I feel about F911 more aptly than I could explain it;

To be honest, I dislike bush. I more than dislike bush, I think he's about the worst thing to happen to our country in about 75 years. I agree on very few points with him. But I simply was unable to watch F911 because of the rapid succession of blaring contradiction after blaring contradiction. What MM has put together is NOT a documentary, it's a piece of highly biased propoganda.

My friend just saw that movie this weekend. She was like you have to go see it, because ignorance is not bliss. I agree, however, I don't think I want Michael Moore's opinion in my memory banks.

I do understand it is about the oil and the money and a few other family issues, but I do hope that what comes out of this mess is some better life for others. I hope that out of the rubble grows life.

We will see.

i do believe mister moore himself made a fuss about disney not producing his movie just as a publicity stunt to get more people to watch, now to me this seemes that he also is greedy and self obsessed.

Oh, that's one of the reasons he's such a publicity whore.


A month or so before it came out, there was an article about how Disney didn't want to produce his movie, because they thought it might effect their relationship with the Florida government (who's Gov. there agin???). Now, while this is pretty fucked up, it was revealed the following day that Moore went INTO the movie, (before he even started working on it), that Disney would not publish it. He just made a huge stink about it again simply and soley to get his supporters riled up and ever more eager to watch. :down:
