Court Tonight

:frown:  I have court tonight.  Wish me luck.  It sucks, i gotta pay my ticket RIGHT before phish so i will be drained of money.

and i'm trying to get it dropped to a smaller charge and everything so that when i go to college, cause i want to, i still can get it.

yeah...maybe you could get deffered judification....which is pretty popular around here for really small charges if you seem like a nice guy...basically you do community service and the charge goes away after six months if you don't get charged with anything else...maybe you should ask about it...

yeah, the original date was 3 monthes ago, but it was to just walk in pay it or plead not guilty and then they would set up a date...and i wanted a court date so i could try to get it dropped because i'm such a nice person and blha blah blah.

thanks, and thanks phishgrrl....

that would suck if they want to drug test me and shit....i would consider smoking at phsih and then just be like it's from before court or something....other wise just drink some beer, but not too much cause being too drunk for a concert isn't fun and can make it more difficult to remember. or i could trip.but if i have too, going sober won't be a bad thing.

yeah, i know...i just don't want anything retarded to be put on me.

All i want to do is pay it and have it be put behind me. Well...actually i want it to get reduced and the charge dropped or something. I just want to be able to put this all behind me...it was all so stupid.

shit man...i got a conditional discharge once and they made me do community service and gave me drug tests once a week for 6 months....6 months turned into about 2 years and a few weeks in jail cause i kept fucking up my drugs tests or skipping a week here and there.

but its all behind me now and life is good :smile:

YAY! i don't have to go to court tonight!

My moms boyfriend is a lawyer and one of the lawyers in his firm is gonnna be my lawyer, and so i JUST found out that only my lawyer has to go tonight. He is gonna try to get it reduced and all that jazz. If all goes well, I may not have to actually go to court, and just pay off my fine, which would be nice. I'm so glad i don't have to go tonight, i was bumming out about it. Now i'm happy.

yeah. i think my chances of it all being reduced are pretty good. because i was cool with the cop, i already knew him and i was very cooperative and all that jazz. He didn't even want to arrest me, but there is a new policy where we live where if it's your first offense they HAVE and take your fingerprints and pictures and all that bullshit, he was asking his commander dude, can't think of their rank name, if he needed to because he didn't want to. So he slapped me with the smallest thing he could, or atleast said he could. And he put in lots of good words for me.
