DAMN IT... i was able to see most of it but when it came down to the actual eclipse there were too many clouds... i missed the whole thing! and its 4:40 AM over here !!! :frown:

well... at least i had a good time...
went out to smoke a joint and play my didge and later met up with a freind
and now finelly i get to sleep a good night's sleep  :smirk:

I am watching from the Oregon coast and there is definately a red tint. The moon is now totally covered by the earths shadow and it looks like a faint glowing red ball.

ture story.
i walk out of work at 930, look friggen everywhere.
i could not find it.
i go back out at 1130 and realize i couldnt see it because it was totally black.
duh it was an eclipse silly
anyways i got to see it a little but i wasnt blessed enough to see a blood moon.

Saldy here in "jewtah" its raining and very cloudy i didnt even see the eclipse a bit :frown:

Hehe I saw it in between bouts of rain. Some gaps in the clouds, but mainly just getting my eyeballs wet. I waited till I got a good look of the total eclipse phase then a huge cloud bank came in so I gave up and went to bed c.3:30am.

Call me a tit, but its actually pretty crap compared to a solar eclipse eh?

I like watching things like meteor showers and or eclipses, it?s just too bad the city lights and pollution around here pretty much ruin the view, back in my hometown though, things are still quite visible and the hills surrounding it are still barren and open to the sky :smile:

I saw it VERY clearly from my porch, and took a few shots with my binocular digital camera (my sony wouldn't pick up anything but black) and am hoping the binocular shots turned out ok, I'll post them later today around noon my time (it's only 9am right now here).

There was an extremely red tint on the moon. Was very great! Anyway, according to our news/weather channel here the next time we'll see a full moon eclipse will be march 3, 2007.
