I heard "high mountain compost" will produce some big old thingys, and comes pre-sterilized. So i want to use it as substrate, but i was wondering if i could fill pint jars loosely with tha high mountain compost and inoculate the jars with a syringe like described in innoculating pf-tek jars. Instead of the bulk colonizing method usually used in compost colonization. Then i was thinking i could just case the substrate using the 50/50 casing on top of the fully colonized compost. With vermicu. below. Will this work? If so whats a good strain to use?
