Question about re-innoculating jars

About 2 or 3 weeks ago I innoculated 10 jars with spores. I noticed that there was a large clump of germinated spores, but they said at Sporeworks there should still be plenty of spores floating around in there. I broke up the clump the best I could, and innoculated.
Now, we have one jar that is beautifully and fully colonized and about to go into the terrarium. The other nine, nothing, nada, zip, zilch.
My question is, can I just buy another spore syringe and re-innoculate those 9 jars? Should I resterilize first? I haven't done anything with the jars but look at them now and then; otherwise they've just sat in the box they came in. I don't mind resterilizing if I need to; I'm just wondering if I have to totally toss the cakes and start over.
Help?

If there is no contamination I would say that they are okay. But to be safe you might want to sterilize them again. I wouldn't buy another syringe, I would wait to make a spore print from your one good cake. If you are lazy and don't feel like making new substrate and resterilizing the jars you might be able to use them again. I know I tend to prepare about 12 jars at a time and have them for when I make a future spore print. I've had jars which are sterilized but not innoculated for 1 month and they colonize and birth without contamination. Its up to you. I would say that the first innoculation attempt is enough to break your sterilization seal and possibly risk loss of jars. When I innoculate a jar that is 1 month old it has never been disturbed. I keep them air tight with medical tape and stored in an air tight box. I always check extensively for contamination before using an old jar. L8rs.

Maybe I'll just give them a little longer, then start over from scratch. I have to do some more research because I don't know about the whole printing thing. I'm a big time novice. Thanks for the reply!

One thing to consider is that you have already innoculated them once with likely 1 or 2cc's of spore water. Now you want to add more spore water. The result could be too much water in your substrate.

i've seen a couple posts about wierd looking or "not so viable" spore syringes recently purchased from sporeworks. i too recently bought a syringe of TC from sporeworks and it arrived pretty much unviable (1 out of 10 jars actually started to colonize). my syringe appeared to have 1 large clump of spores floating around, and the rest was crystal clear water.
i contacted sporeworks and they were very polite and timely in their response. a replacement syringe is otw, and i am a happy camper...=)
i'll accept this as a fluke. from what i've read, the works has a good rep here...
