Flushing?! =)

I'm still unclear as to what "flushing" refers to. Are we talking about the cake naturally using up its hydration as it grows the shrooms? How does one stimulate the cakes to fruit again? Or, do they fruit spontaneously? I've checked through MMGG, and Fanaticus' page, to no avail. If anyone could explain this to me, I would appreciate it greatly.

A flush is basicly when a bulk of mushrooms pop up at around the same time, then you pick them. Then, between a few days and a week or so later, you may get another 'flush', pick those, and if you're lucky you may be able to repeat the cycle a few more times before infection sets in or your cake runs out of nutrients or water. Then you can do stuff like dunking your cake to replenish the water supply, etc.
