Replenishing Moisture after first flush
    #3401381 - 11/24/04 01:25 AM (13 years, 6 months ago)

Curious what should I do with the casing once i pick these? Should I spray down the casing? Or just leave it be? THe casing is starting to pull in on the sides. I hear that's normal.? Is there a way to replenish the water after the first flush?

Spray it, and cover with seran wrap.

A person would need more info from you, to answer with any credibility.

I assume it is a cased semi/bulk substrate?

How big - as in weight - height - width & depth is it.

What is it in (plastic, aluminum, Tupperware).

What is the RH in the container holding the casing?

Without having more info - it is difficult to give to any straight answer. But, as a casing pulls away from the container (one it?s in) walls, you can add an ounce or 4 of distilled water around the edge of the container (very gently & all around it). That should help re-hydrate it.

I would be a bit careful about spraying TO MUCH - directly
on the SURFACE - as that can cause OVERLAY.

Yup... but add some H2O2 to the water. 10:1 water to 3% H2O2

I suggest waiting till the flush is complete before messing with the water content
