I agree suillus sp.
What trees are in the area if you know. This will help a little figuring out which suillus.

The speckling on the stipe I would compare to suillus granulatus.

Aspen spruce pine. All my I'D requests are aspen spruce pine. It's all that grows here.

Is there any European larch in the area? Larch can often be found in the same habitats as spruce. I only ask cause I'm trying to narrow down the hundred or so suillus species lol

the native larch species is usually called tamarack up there (larix laricina).  dont remember seeing it down by the lakes in southern yukon though. it seems pretty well contained to certain areas. they are kinda hard to spot until they turn yellow in september
