Me and my girlfriend both have COVID

She started feeling really sick yesterday. Has a fever of 102 if she doesn't take Tylenol. I don't have a fever but I do feel like I got hit by a bus

I've had carpal tunnel syndrome symptoms for many years, but I finally have achieved an ergonomic home workstation recently and my pains have reduced by about 90%, sometimes even 100%.  I think my carpal tunnel pains were just from either weak genes and/or bad ergonomic setup and/or Lyme, but I'm thinking the first two are the main reasons.

They’re now recommending that anyone with a deer tick attached in a Lyme endemic area should take one single large dose of doxycycline as prophylaxis. Nip it in the bud

Holy  fuck today is way worse. Constant chills and sweating and aches. I havent been able to get my temp to go below 100.3 even with a gram and a half of Tylenol and 400mg of ibuprofen


Time is going by so slow.

Suppressing a mild fever seems counterproductive. The fever actually helps immune response.

My temp runs low and 101.8 is not really a mild fever for me. I took the Tylenol when  temp was that high and I haven't taken any since. I still have a fever


I've been thinking since 7pm that I had slept overnight and woken up in the morning at 7am.

What I realized it was a night time I got really confused

I'm a lil mad at my gf cuz decided to go to this international convention with like 10k people from literally everywhere. I told her to "if anywhere is likely to be a mass spreader event, it is that." I'm not MAD but this just feels unnecessary.

I forgot to mention that I have thrown up several times. Third time there was nothing to throw up so I was just heaving and sweating bullets

I'm starting to feel better. Temp is down to 99.7 without any medicine


I never had any cough or shortness of breath whatsoever. Almost seems like grouping all the diseases caused by the various variants is... A bad idea. COVID-19 alpha caused a disease that doesn't really resemble the COVID19e from omicron or later.

my girlfriend has been having weird sensations on her skin on and off. Sounds like some kind of neuropathy similar to that caused by B12 deficiency, based on her description

That sucks man. The consistent story with people I know who've gotten it is: "I went to a family dinner and my dipshit cousin had tested positive but no one told me"
I've been getting complacent thinking that getting it out-n-about wasn't really likely.

On Friday someone got into the car with us at a volunteer group and like two minutes later he is like I have pneumonia and a cough, I'm thinking WTF stay home faggot, and the person in charge didn't say anything, today is Sunday and I dont feel sick yet, so I think I'm good
