For the those who didn't see it before, my girl and I both have covid. Things are really looking out today though. I feel less than half as bad.

Passed out yesterday at like 11pm and didn't get out of bed today until 2pm. 98.5temp today (my normal temp averages 97.5). Expecting a full recovery by tomorrow.

My timeline:

Friday afternoon: feeling a little crapp
Friday night: starting to feel worse. Take a COVID test, comes back negative. My girl takes one and it comes back positive. We place bets on whether or not I'll have it by the next morning.

Saturday morning: wake up feeling like hell. Temp 101.7 iirc. Covid test comes back positive.

Saturday: i take Tylenol in regular doses and it does bring my fever down, but not for the whole six hours that it claims it should, and barely touches my body aches. Confused as shit all day. I wake up at 7:00 p.m. on Saturday and think that it's 7: 00am on Sunday and persist in that belief for hours because I can't get out of bed or even pull the sheets off my face

Sunday morning: wake up feeling just as bad as saturday morning. Honestly don't even remember much of what happened yesterday but I didn't do anything other than lay in bed or on the couch phasing in and out of sleep, basically same as Saturday. Passed out at 11pm

Definitely worse than the time I got omicron in December. Since this came from a massive international convention who the fuck knows the variant anymore

Wow.... I keep hearing people are still getting it pretty bad.

I have 8 at home test kits thanks to the U.S. Gubmint. Are they even keeping track of new strains at this point?

People ARE aware that the vaccines are for the ORIGINAL strain, and not even all the new ones, right?
