oi dude what species of psilocybin are u looking for? seems like ur looking for cubes or pan subbs. You should wait till winter and look for some azurescens waaay better then cubes (u know cubes dont grow in Ohio right?) or subbs. Ive never had either but ive had subaeruginosa which is nearly the same as azurescens and it is worth getting. also i had a similair fustrating experience before i found my first mushrooms. starting looking just when season was ending which was annoying. but we kept looking even out of season and this season we finally got some. persistance pays off beleive me. also reading posts is generally a lot more helpful then posting. do a lot of research for the species you are looking for. search for some Ohio posts look at the pics and note the habitat. here is the info u need on azurescens habitat and identification. good luck :thumbup:

PS - the cultivation tec may intimidate u and seem long and complicated (i too once had this misconception) but its neither. just read it and u will be surprised how simple it really is

wait until fall for mush, thats the best time of year for mush. Just grow your own in the mean time, much more worth it then trying to look for them now...

no no no, i was reading the faq on it and i kept seeing that you have to have a syringe i was like o great, i couldnt bring my self to think that spore syringes are legal i was like no fucking way.

after i read the rest i have a pretty good idea, they arent illegal and are for research.

so no you havent wasted your time, i just didnt believe it.

so how about them chickens i got one tied down in the gallows all ready for you to "bump"

THERE ARE NO P. AZURESCENS IN OHIO EXCEPT FOR A PATCH THAT USE TO GROW IN A BACK YARD OF A FRIEND OF PAUL STAMETS IN OHIO. IN FACT, THEY GREW FOR THREE YEARS AND DID NOT COME BACK, NOR DID THEY SPREAD TO OTHER REGIONS. AND P. AZURESCENS IS NOTHING LIKE P. SUBAERUGINOSA. THEY BEONG TO TWO DIFFEENT STIRPS.
