Research kitchen... reaching for an oversized chrome spoon he gathers an
Intimate quantity of dried muffin remnants and brushing his scapular aside
Procceds to dump these inside of his shirt...
He turns to us and speaks:

My mom just told me about her first Franky show. She got front row center right in front of him. It was her first time eating mushrooms back when she went to Kent state. This was a year after those kids got shot there. Anyways Frank had a cold and kept blowing his nose and throwing his boogie vaults at her. I guess he thought they would make great souviner.

Yeah, Frank was a cool dude.

Years ago my brother wrote Frank a letter. My bro was distressed about the state of the world and he wrote about how despondant he felt and how nothing was getting better...blah, blah, blah.

Frank sent him back an 8X10 photo of himself with these words written on it..."Dear Matt- Relax. Frank Zappa"

As far as I know that picture still hangs on my bros wall.

What an amazing souvenir to have!!!

I went on a huge FZ binge when I was in high school and basically had no bills and lots of disposable income (those were the daze!) So now I have at between 15 and 20 FZ albums... I don't remember how many, it was a good binge. :-)

The albums I listen to most are The Best Band You Never Heard in Your Life and Hot Rats.
