Did he not give them ample opportunity to avoid this? It also appears that he is going after the leader of the people committing these acts of violence?

Again I'm just trying to understand where people are coming from. I in no way support war of any kind and by no means do I support Putins actions...just seems like it's not so black and white as some would have you believe.

Well we invaded Iraq under the guise that there were weapons of mass destruction and that Saddam was in non compliance with a treaty that would enable to search freely at anytime and then it was proven there never were any weapons of mass destruction. I don't think anyone believes we invaded Iraq to save the people...left or right our presidents have bombed plenty of innocent people in our operations overseas without batting an eye. We try to take the moral high ground all the while doing the same thing we're sanctioning Russia for.

While our invasion of Iraq was frowned upon by some, nobody did anything about it as we are doing to Russia. Which is just going to harm....the innocent civilians of Russia the most. You think these sanctions are going to take food off Putin's plate? No it will be the working class people that suffer.
