Regardless Trudeau hasn't even addressed them appropriately and the actions this past week has changed nearly everything. It isn't just about vaccine mandates anymore... plus one of the original goals was the entire country to be free of vaccine mandates, not just some provinces from my understanding. I understand your point about the US, but Governments are for making things happen.. and if they're not that's what protesting is for in a so called democracy.

That was a lil all over the place, talking about koods, then truth, then covid, then violent crime, then saying someone who think they are important is full of shit not objectively seeing their uselessness, but their shit is how they navigate though the world... those are some interesting trains of thought. I can prove everything I expressed in my previous post with video evidence of the protest in all those places, interviews where protesters and truckers are expressing those sentiments and the house of commons footage.

It's about whatever people say it's about now I suppose. I think for organizers like white supremacist Pat King it was never really about Covid at all, but about convincing people that the moderate left is a totalitarian threat and the far right is the solution to that.

The reality is that it's mostly the moderate right who control the level of government that has the most to do with Covid measures, and they already would rather drop any restrictions they can to go "back to business" if they can justify it because that's what their brand is all about. So the winds were blowing that way for them anyway as this wave wraps up. Then when they do what they were going to do anyway the protestors can take credit. They got what they wanted from their political allies who actually did control the situation, while directing popular frustration at mandates towards a political opponent who controls a level of government that has little to do with the matter.

Anyone here about the people tryna protest in Toronto? According to reddit they were met with extreme hostility, and protesters were butthurt, sometimes I think reddit is pure propaganda, but I want to believe my home city is that based, I'm willing to suspend disbelief to believe the reddit hive mind for this

Yeah man I tried taking a few guys through the steps after I thought I had ascended once or twice during the hubris of my seemingly innocent and idyllic youth.


The singularly most intelligent man I've ever met once told me that if he could go back in time he would just get a registered nursing license and nothing else. And what he said was very convincing. And it totally transformed my life and all associated possibility set. We met via AA. He was like 44 with 22 years clean.

Yup there are local protests for those who can't make it to Ottawa.



I honestly don't feel bad. I am sorry, but everyone has been negatively affected by the Government for the last two years. Inflation, loss of small businesses to name a couple. I am sorry, but it is what it is.

Maybe if the Government respected our Truckers enough to have discussion when they first arrived at Parliament we wouldn't be in this position today. We'll never know cause the PM hid for the first 2 weeks in an undisclosed location and then came out and called people racists. Canadians have had enough.

Protesters and Truckers are not backing down now. Everyone involved will be holding the line until changes are made.
